Abstract

This article proposes that the novel Carne de perra (2009), by Fatima Sime is articulated by saturating different bodies: at a level of the statement, the tortured body of María Rosa, allegory of the national body; at a generic sex level, the body of a violented woman; at the level of discursive genre, the novelistic body masked in a testimonial body. The saturation of bodies is therefore constituted in a female corpography that accounts the blows, fractures and wounds of a female body that seeks to be sutured through the fabrication of a female countermemory that questions the discourses of memory emanating from the official.
