Abstract

In the article concepts, beliefs and feeling are presented in relation to death in adults whose ages fluctuated between 65 and 75 years. The first part of the study is concerned with the importante of this subject matter, a constant in the history of humanity, wich appears to be an anthropologically significant problem for psychological research.

The results show that death is considered to be a necessary event in the period of life analysed in the study. Reflections related to this phenomenon create a broader outlook of approaching life and the human being. The feelings of these subject are more related to the manner in wich death occurs than with death itself, especially with personal desires of "ggod dying". Finally, conclusions are drawn that suggest ideas to be taken into account in order to confront the problem of death.
